SAR9 Compact 9mm Black (SAR9C) is a compact version of the full-sized SAR9, a 9mm handgun manufactured in Turkey by Sarsilmaz. The full-sized version is standard issue for the Turkish military.

SAR9 Compact Build & Design

The SAR9 compact version also features a polymer frame. The grip frame is adaptable with interchangeable grip and side panel inserts, allowing a customized fit. Positioned as a balance between a SAR9 Subcompact and SAR9 full-size pistol, the SAR9 C is small and light enough for easy concealment and comfortable carrying, while retaining the capacity and features of a full-size pistol.

SAR9 C Controls

The magazine latch, slide lock, and takedown levers are all positively operational. A molded-in accessory rail is available for combat lights and lasers.

• Safety & Trigger: Unlike its full-sized counterpart which has a manual safety, the SAR9 C lacks this feature. It has a blade-type safety lever in the trigger and a drop safety or striker block. The trigger breaks cleanly at about 5 pounds, 14 ounces.
• Magazines: Steel, 15-round capacity, and feature strong springs for reliability.

SAR9 C Slide & Sights and Barrel

The slide is well machined and features rounded flats and a beveled muzzle. The sights are standard three white-dot types. Features a hammer-forged barrel with a recessed crown for durability and a black oxide slide for corrosion resistance. You may also be interested in the SAR9 CX featuring a serrated slide.
