Buy this gun. Stainless or Black does not matter! It Is an Awesome Pistol and an Amazing Bargain. Perfectly engineered and fabricated. High capacity (17+1), 9mm, DA/SA pistol. The SAR USA 2000 is a brilliant melding of the best CZ and Tanfoglio designs.This is important if searching for performance upgrades or OE replacement “internal” parts.
I inspected, thoroughly cleaned and lubricated my 2000 before going to the Range. I was amazed by my 2000’s “out of the box” smooth, flawless operation. I experienced ZERO jams, stovepipes, or feeding problems (it ate 400 rounds, smooth as silk)! Surprising accuracy at 25 yards (standing, hand-held, 3-inch groups with premium Speer and Federal ammo).
The 2000’s DA/SA trigger is smooth and repeatable. DA Trigger pull was 13 lbs. SA was 6 lbs. Aftermarket Spring Kits and upgrades can retain the 2000’s “Bullet Proof” reliability AND reduce DA trigger pull to 5.5 lbs, and SA to 3 lbs. (I installed Reduced Force Springs for the Hammer, Trigger Return, Sear, Firing Pin, Slide Block Safety Plunger and the Trigger Bar Guide Assembly.) Tritium and Fiber-optic sight options exist.
